Betabound’s Privacy Policy

The Betabound website is owned and run by Centercode, Inc. We greatly respect the privacy of all of our visitors and community members. It is essential to our community that we collect contact and other personal information from our members. We provide this Privacy Policy to explain how we gather and use information about you, how we protect it, and how you can participate in its protection.

We reserve the right to change this Privacy Policy. If we do so, we will provide you with notification of the change at least thirty (30) days before the change takes effect and will include directions regarding how you can respond to the change.

Information Collected

We require our members to provide personal contact information, including name, address, phone number, and e-mail address. We also ask for personal information such as age, gender, marital status, education, languages spoken, employment status, household income, and the amount of time you have available to participate in a beta test.

In addition to personal data, members are asked to provide details regarding any products you own which relate to certain products which may be available for beta testing. We refer to these as Test Platforms and they include items such as a personal computer, peripheral device, audio and video components, cellphone, tablet, or any number of other products.

This information is collected and used for the purpose of identifying individuals who match the profile required for participating in each beta test. Not all information is required in order to complete the registration process, but supplying this data will increase the number of test opportunities available to you.

Except as may be required by law, we will never sell, share, distribute, print, or reference your personal data. Of course, registrants are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality and security of their username and password.

Centercode also collects certain information from Betabound members such as IP addresses and browser related information. This information is logged to help diagnose technical problems, track malicious activities, ensure security, and to enable us to constantly improve the quality of our web sites and services. We may also track and analyze non-identifying statistical information from Betabound members and provide such information to third parties. This information is purely statistical in format and cannot be used to identify individuals in any way.

Test Participation (Important)

By accepting an invitation to participate in a Betabound exclusive beta test, you are agreeing to allow us to share your contact information only with the company whose product is being tested. This information is shared for the purpose of beta test related communication only and will not include any sales solicitation.
